In the period that Isaiah the prophet lived there was immense political upheaval across the ancient near-east. The people of God had a choice - to follow their own human policies or to follow the promises of God. They chose to be unfaithful. The prophet breaks in and calls them to repent.  In today’s setting, we can learn from mistakes make by the people of Judah and how our own divided hearts may equally lead us astray.

Whether you are new to Brookdale or have been here for a while and have not been able to attend our Foundations Class, please consider joining us for this 6-week class with an emphasis on learning about Brookdale Church, what we believe and how this shapes our ministries.  Foundations is valuable as it provides a window into the heart of our ministry, as well as a foundation for membership.  It is also a great opportunity to get to know other people.
